The Wander Notes is a personal project — a blog sharing stories about travel, food, and, for the most part, the art of wine and spirits.
It speaks to professionals in the gastronomy sector, as well as to lovers of the good life who wish to discover what lies behind a glass of wine, a dram of whisky, a balloon glass of gin and tonic, a dish of food, or a destination beyond the ordinary.

The Wander Notes expresses, through objective knowledge, a subjective way of life.

With a BA in English Language (Linguistics Department) from the University of Lancaster, UK, and an MA in Arts Management from City University, London, since 2004 I have been working in gastronomy, wine, and spirits.

Between 2009 and 2015, I was Editor-in-Chief of TASTE magazine, published by the O Fileleftheros Media Group — a magazine dedicated to flavour, drink, travel, and the good life. In 2015, I became a freelancer, and from 2016 to 2018 I served as Publishing Consultant for Check In/Time Out Cyprus.

From 2018 to 2024, I worked for a wine import and distribution company, holding the positions of Wine Specialist and Wine Business Manager.

Since 2024, I have been working independently. In addition to writing features and interviews related to the food–wine–spirits triad, I undertake projects such as consulting for restaurants and bars, food and wine pairing for various events, writing travel guides, and teaching about wine and spirits.

Since January 2023, I have been a holder of the WSET Level 4 Diploma in Wines.

Ways to Collaborate through The Wander Notes

Wine & Spirits Reviews
A significant part of The Wander Notes is tasting new products. If you would like me to sample and write about your product — whether it is wine or a spirit — I’d be delighted. If our collaboration includes travel to a winery or distillery, so much the better!

Restaurant & Hotel Reviews
Hospitality — in both dining and accommodation — has always been one of my favourite worlds, whether writing about restaurants and hotels or working occasionally as a guest sommelier or wine consultant.

Other Ways to Collaborate / Services

  • Consulting for restaurants and bars on wine, spirits, and sake.

  • Private Wine & Spirits Tastings/Sessions — corporate or private.

  • Food and Wine Pairing: Organising (unforgettable) themed dinners and parties centred on the art of pairing food with wine, spirits, or cocktails.
